The Normal Building was the original home of the State Normal School. It was located on the site of what is now called the Historic Quarter specifically near Kendall Hall. When the Normal Building burned down in the 1927, the cornerstone of Kendall Hall was laid upon the original cornerstone of the Normal Building. An image of the building can be seen in a mural on the back side of the Chico Museum.
