OLLI is a division within the Regional and Continuing Education Department at Chico State.

OLLI at CSU Chico is a chapter of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute nationwide.  OLLI in Chico is funded in part by grants from the Osher Foundation.  Its purpose is to promote lifelong learning for retired people.  In the local area, OLLI is open to anyone "50 or better" or who is retired or married to someone retired.  Members register, pay an annual or semester fee, and then sign up for as many classes as they want to take each semester--fall, spring, and summer (June).  Currently, the member fees are $100 for fall and spring or $125 for fall, spring, and summer.  In Fall of 2014, over 100 classes are being offered in Chico, Oroville, Paradise, and Willows.  Class lists and registration procedures can be found at the OLLI website:  olli.csuchico.edu.

Open Houses with class previews are scheduled for fall semester on Aug. 13 from 10 am-noon at Chico Masonic Family Center on East Avenue, Chico and on Aug. 20 from 1-3 pm at Butte County Library, 1820 Mitchell Avenue, Oroville.
