The Dog House chef is a wizard of hot dogs. This is no ordinary hot dog venue — you owe it to yourself to try one of the unique and unusual dogs! The spicy hawaiian is particularly delectable. The Chico Enterprise Record has a review of the Dog House. The one on East Avenue is like a little diner — You can sit down inside. The one on West Sacramento Avenue is a like a Dutch Brothers Coffee — there's an order window and a table outside.
The concession stand at One Mile in Bidwell Park is open in the late spring to late fall, to serve the seasonal park users there. The hot dogs there are of the same high quality of other Chico locations.
