1950's

History

In the 1970's a group of girls lived at the house and tanned in the front yard. People would walk by and say that it looked the Famous Hotel Tropicana in Las Vegas. The girls liked the sound of it and began painting palm trees through out the house and then the mural on the garage. In the 1990's the landlord painted over the Mural, but was brough back in 2007, by an Art Major on the CSU Chico Campus. Today, Tropicana is known for it's Mural, huge backyard, which includes a bar, stadium seating, beer pong tables, and a fire pit.
