Please feel free to experiment here, after the four dashes below... and please do NOT create new pages without any meaningful content just to try it out!

This page should include the word sandbox in it somewhere, so that searching for sandbox will bring this page up among the results.

It has been said that entering [[TableOfContents]] will yield a "table of contents".... most excellent

Tip: Middle-click (or Shift-click, for some) on Help with Editing to open a second window with the help pages.

lol @ above image; don't do that. when you link to images at other websites, it loads them from their servers and uses their bandwidth. Save the images to the wiki that uses them. hmmm i have to figure out how to sign comments in this wiki format...

  • If you sign up for a user account, you can easily sign your comments using the tools at the top of the screen while you edit. Otherwise you're just an anonymous person identified only by your IP address. And as for linking to images, it's not very encouraged, but it's in here since it is a possibility. It's definitely way better to save it straight to the wiki, since it also won't get lost if the other website goes away or the image changes. Anyhow, Welcome to the Wiki, and hopefully we'll see some more edits from you (maybe with a user name so you can sign your comments). —StaceyEllis
  • The image link serves a purpose to show that using a straight-up url to an image will display the image in the wiki. Some pages don't allow images to be uploaded. Case in point, the Events Board. People need to store their flyers using PhotoBucket or similar and display them as the demo above illustrates. Anyway, this wiki isn't very high traffic and that gif is tiny. I almost have a feeling the whole purpose of that gif is for the above demonstration on wikis everywhere (because it is named wiki.gif). Check out getting an account :-) Thanks. —RyanMikulovsky

Em-dashes

This is an em-dash — similar to a regular dash but longer. The parser converts --'s into em-dashes.
