Walmart is a one stop shopping experience for most anything a person could be looking for in Chico. The South Chico location includes: cell phones and plans, garden center, McDonald's, Pharmacy, Photo Center, 1hr-photo, Portrait Center, Tire and Lube and a Vision Center in addition to the usual housewares, clothing, food, household goods, and more.
A proposed North Chico Walmart location was a source of debate throughout the community. With people both for and against the second location, the plan was eventually dropped in 2008. 1 Now they're simply interested in expanding their store on Forest Avenue.
