This page lists some of the regular events you can attend in the Brandon, Meadowfield, Langley Moor, Littleburn and Browney area - sorry it appears in County Durham general pages, I need to change the address to codurham/brandon/whatson,  oops!

I made this list with older people in mind; of course some events are for younger people as well!

Monday

6.15-8pm       Bingo at Brandon Welfare Hall
6.30pm          Brandon & Meadowfield Residents Association, Sycamore Park Hall, every 2nd Monday in the month. Contact: George Kelley

Tuesday

9.30am-12 noon    Older people's 'Spa Club' at St Andrew's Methodist Church: tea & coffee, crafts & games. Contact: Mary Tribe
12noon - 3pm          Drop-in Coffee morning and Food Bank, Brandon Welfare Hall.
2pm                            Meadowfield Over 60s Club, British Legion Club: last Tuesday in the month. Contact: Pat Harrison
7pm                             Women's Institute meeting at Silver Courts Hall, every 2nd Tuesday in the month. 

Wednesday

9.30am                    Service and coffee at St John's Church (Anglican), Meadowfield
12noon-1pm            Over 60s lunch club at Harry Carr House, 44a Burnigill, Meadowfield - £3
7.30-11pm                Old time and sequence 50/50 dancing at Meadowfield Club

Thursday

1.30-2.30pm        Seated exercise class at Silver Courts Hall - £2
2-3pm                    Langley Moor & Meadowfield PACT meeting, Meadowfield Sports Centre, monthly
4-8pm approx.     Cricket Club practice, all teams at Brandon Cricket Club - summer months only
6-8.15pm               Bingo at Silver Courts Hall
6.15-8pm               Bingo at Brandon Welfare Hall
6.30-8.30pm       Table Tennis Club, Brandon Welfare Hall
9pm                         Quiz night at Morley Wood pub, £1 entry with free buffet

Friday
