The most awesome literary journal in the world, edited by Mark Spitzer at UCA, born from the Exquisite Corpse, publishes local and regional writers of excellence plus artists like Lawrence Ferlinghetti and Charles Bukowski and Diane holds lots of cool events

The Aonian

Is the Hendrix student literary journal which is released a few times a year (exact number?) which are available from the Hendrix Murphy Foundation.

The Vortex

The literary and art journal of the University of Central Arkansas Department of Writing.  They have readings almost quarterly so check with the Upcoming events page to see if one is coming up.


There are several illustrators in Conway or who have roots in Conway, but at this time no one has listed any comics.  Please post 'em!

From the Facebook: Is "a new hip publication to give Conway and its residents a "go to" for local things to do and see focusing on Conway residents and its diversity. You will find information about music, nightlife, arts, food, entertainment, family events and much more".

Published monthly (approx # copies). This publication can be found in various corner stores and restaurants around town but perhaps the most reliable spots to grab a copy are UCA, Hendrix or the Faulkner County Library

A full archive of Revel is available on their website.  Outwardly emphasizes cultural activity and happenings in the Conway community.

A product of 501 Advertising and Publishing.  Appears heavily focused toward advertising.  Often found in waiting rooms, heavily distributed.  Their website.
