This Art Theater is more than a movie theater.  They are the first cooperatively owned art house theater in the country. They strive to be environmentally friendly and do other great things like 2-minute theater where patrons are allowed to introduce Late Night Movies and why they love them. The theater plays recent films, private screenings, independent films and old-time movies. The theater is guided by its mission of “building community by preserving and promoting a space for the shared cinema experience.” The Art Theater, like many other small cinemas, has late night cinema on the weekends.
