Black Lives Matter Champaign-Urbana is a chapter of the national Black Lives Matter network that works for equality, freedom, and justice. The chapter organizes vigils, clothing drives, discussions, and other events related to racial justice. The chapter leaders are Evelyn Reynolds, Kadeem Fuller, Aisha Conner-Gaten, Shameem Razack, Tierney Reed (T.R.U.T.H), Shasta "Klevah" Knox, Richard Hamilton, and Tekita Bankhead.
