The Channing-Murray Foundation is the UIUC Unitarian Universalist campus center at the University of Illinois. They hold very small Sunday services at 1 PM in their chapel. It is lay led with casual dress, with some refreshments provided (such as the quintessential UU coffee). Students, however generally opt out, rather attending the young adult group sessions, which also include a free dinner.
They frequently hold social justice events and host international festivals. Their regular schedule, however, is somewhat cryptic, as their website is often unreliable. Services are cancelled fairly often without public notice, and the details of the YA group are impossible to suss out of the conflicting flyers, posts, and newsletters. If you are certain of the details, please correct this. In the meantime, I will continue trying to find out.
They are also attached to the Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant.
