Child Care Resource Service (CCRS) is a program of the department of human and community development at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. CCRS serves Champaign, Vermilion, Macon, Douglas, Iroquois, and Piatt counties by helping promote and refer quality child care programs.

Child Care Resource Service provides copious information on the types of child care that exist and how to evaluate them. In order to search for child care providers, one must use an email address to register for an account with Quality Counts Online Child Care Search.

In addition to resources for parents, CCRS also has many resources for child care providers, including training opportunities. This is important and useful because child care providers must complete continuing education hours every year.

CCRS provides information and contact information for the Child Care Assistance Program through which qualifying parents can receive assistance paying for child care from the Illinois Department of Human Services.
