Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School, one of six elementary schools in Urbana School District #116, is located in northwest Urbana in the King Park neighborhood. Our students come from over 50 countries and speak more than 40 languages. The multicultural, multilingual nature of the school population provides a rich learning environment for King School students. The presence in the building of teachers from other countries makes it possible to provide instruction in a language other than English to most students.

President Obama have visited the school while he was a senator, pictures of this visit will be put up in the near future.
