Mikvah Mei Leah is a Jewish ritual bath serving the Champaign-Urbana Jewish community. The Mikvah waters represent purity, transformation and elevation. As a clean and modern bathing facility, it is connected to two pools of pure, natural rainwater - representative of a connection to something higher than ourselves. The Mikvah opened in May 4, 2014 and has been serving the community every since.
Mikvah Mei Leah is a 501(c)3 organization operated by a team of Jewish organizations comprised of the Champaign-Urbana Jewish Federation, Illini Chabad, Illini Hillel, JET, Mikvah USA and community members for the benefit of our community and its visitors.
The Mikvah is under supervision of the Chicago Rabbinical Council.
