Novak Academy is an alternative high school program that offers low student teacher ratios and individualized programs for non-traditional students. There are five condensed semesters during the school year. This school features small classes sizes. Classes are taught at the school in English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Other classes may be taken online through the Apex system. Once students meet the graduation requirements of their home schools, they are eligible to walk a graduation ceremony with their home school. Classes start at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. The school started in 2008 as part of the Champaign Unit 4 Schools.
