Commonly referred to as RIS within the Main Library, Research and Information Services works to staff the Main Information desk, teach workshops around the library, and maintain some aspects of the library webpage. This is the first place you should come to for help, and they can be reached in person, by telephone, email, text messaging, or chat. The desk is staffed by graduate assistants and librarians from around the library. Their job is to help students, faculty/staff, and anyone else affiliated with the university navigate online resources, find books and articles, and direct you to where you need to go. Never hesitate to ask a question at the Info Desk. They are there to help.
