Royel Bijou is a fashion company started by designer Ja Nelle Pleasure. Pleasure's designs specializes in custom designed garments and jewelry with an emphasis on recycled and sustainable designs.
She is an expressive designer with over 20 years of experience and many more to go.
Her booth at the 2014 Heartland Maker Fest focused on recycled designs, something she is passionate about passing on to others. Her booth encouraged passers to stop and try their hands at creating their own recycled jewelry, as well as showcasing the jewelry she has made.
Pleasure originally got the idea for recycled designed from her children. She remembers seeing her children pull things from her recycling bin and making hats, shoes, jewelry, etc. and the idea was born! Her children continue to work with her and create recycled designs of their own.
Inspirations for her designs come from people she interacts with, her family, and things she finds on the internet. She hopes that her designs will inspire others, in turn.
The 2014 Heartland Maker Fest featured a mini fashion show of Pleasure's designs.
