- Thursday, July 9th 1818-Hardin is authorized to keep a tavern at his dwelling house in Davidsonville upon paying a $10.00 license fee, which is duly paid to James Campbell, the sheriff prior to Hardin.
- Friday, July 10th 1818- Hardin is then appointed by the circuit court to be overseer of the first road division of the Spring River Township (in which Davidsonville fell).
