Black Family Day (BFD) is put on by the Cross Cultural Center as part of one of our Culture Days every year to step towards black empowerment and strengthening of our families. The family reflects the resilience, diversity and openness of black culture. Over the years we have hosted countless lectures, speakers, entertainers, entertainment groups, vendors, etc..
This is a FAMILY event, so we encourage everyone to bring their whole family. We also will be having a Children's Fair which will include a jumper, face painting and other fun events that children will love! Bring your family and come enjoy joyful music, good food, and nice weather while we celebrate! This year, BFD will be held on May 21st, 2016. Please email Christian Nesbitt ([email protected]) to be added to the listserv to be about the application process, BFD/BFW Planning Committees, or if you have any questions, comments, or concerns!
