2006-05-24 10:57:08   Dr. Thomas is very professional, friendly and he knows what he's doing. His office also seems to have very state-of-the-art technology, of all the dentists I've been to in Davis I've had my best experience with this one. —HaggroAlex

2006-12-29 00:10:49   They're going to refuse service to you if you don't provide them with your SSN to bill to insurance companies. They don't care if you give them your dental insurance member id number, they still want your SSN. —JohnWong

2007-04-06 01:05:52   I have been to this dentist several times for treatment, and they've been very good, and courteous. I had the composite on my front tooth repaired by them, and then I decided to splurge on a whitening treatment, and they offered to resurface my composite to change the color to match my whiter teeth. If your teeth are sensitive, don't hesitate to ask for the lidocaine, and they won't hesitate to inject it. There's nothing like feeling nothing! —KarlMogel

2007-05-15 12:20:46   JohnWong, they also asked me for my SSN, but said they'd accept my insurance member number. I called up the insurance (Delta Dental) and they said my member number is the SSN and I would have to get my employer to change that. This sucks! —JoFeuerstein

2008-04-05 15:39:10   I have been going here for 14 years and totally enjoy their office. I agree that they always seem to keep up to date on the latest technology and have staff that has been with them for years. I've had many different types of dental work done here and I've always been satisfied with the service I've received. —loneshark

2008-05-27 13:44:26   I've been going to Dr. T for about 7 years now, and have always been very happy with the service he and his staff provide. I am very picky about my dentist and would never go anywhere else. —NotSure

2010-10-08 08:32:58   I have gone to Dr. Thomas several times and found him to be very good. However, the management of his office leaves much to be desired. If you have insurance, don't give them any money up front as you will be pulling teeth to get it back. They will present you with services and products to spend that money on. They don't automatically mail your money back to you. Their dental hygienist said to me that I needed a "deep cleaning" of some back teeth or I would lose them. So I finally agreed and the only deep cleaning I got was of my pocketbook. So save yourself $835 and get a deep cleaning kit called Waterpik at Target. natacami —jm7sumner

2011-01-23 20:53:41   I totally agree with jm7sumner. The dentist is nice as well as his hygienist. But their bookkeeping and billing are so confusing that you better pay your copay with your insurance statement in you hands and make sure you account has a 0 balance after you pay. I had a major treatment done and paid my portion up front. When I realized I paid much higher than it should be, I asked to get my money back. They wouldn't answer me until I went to the office and asked for the office manager. She sat down with me to do the "math" and had to agree that I over-paid for that treatment. However, she rightaway pointed to me that I owed the office that much amount for a panoramic x-ray I took 4 years ago that insurance didn't pay :0(. Of course I didn't get my money ($300) back but they lost 5 customers (my whole family) from that day. —CathyLee

2011-09-29 16:26:54   They definitely have a profit driven business model—forget the fact that you're a student on a tight budget. Despite being told repeatedly I don't want any more cleanings than the insurance pays for, they continue to pester me, and don't bother telling you that deep cleaning is not covered completely. Well, $80 may not seem alot to them! So they have a fascade of polite customer service, but they have revealed themselves to be greedy capitalists that you have to protect your pocketbook from. —AlanRaetz

2013-02-28 02:38:01   This clinic is the worse clinic ... If you want to meet a theft or layer they are....I had a bad history with dr , and staff ..... After one year I suffered a sever pain in my teeth that he treat it he didn't treat it well —Marmar

2016-04-13 11:31:43   yes, i absolutely recommend Thomas Dental Care! I first met with Dr. Thomas last year, after learning that my teeth had become very bad; really, as a different dentist told me i had no options. I spent several months (while teeth condition only worsened) avoiding a dentist as i was too upset and afraid to deal with the problem. Then i met Debbie at Thomas Dental Care who encouraged me to see Dr. Thomas--and thank goodness that i finally did begin treatment with Dr. Thomas, who has restored my teeth. It is important to relate, here, that Dr. Thomas is highly skilled dentist with a lot of kindness and patience. He and his warm staff have been so encouraging throughout my treatment there. He explains procedures and is always thinking through the best action steps to take during the long process of restoring my teeth. Dr. Thomas explains what the plan is, which relieves much of the anxiety i've had, and answers questions sincerely and professionally. He is a kind person, as is he staff, and dedicated to helping people. I am grateful to Thomas Dental Care for helping me recover a decent self image that i'd lost when i realized how bad my teeth had become last year. pam driggers —shalom01

Dr. Thomas always works with a plan in mind. It seems he can achieve anything! i am very grateful to Dr. Thomas and his staff for their skills and the assurance they have provided. —shalom01
