Our mission…

Rooted in a tradition of ecumenical, progressive campus ministry since 1916, Cal Aggie Christian Association at UC Davis serves the Christian student community through faith-based programs grounded in four basic values: community, faith, social justice, and sustainable living. In addition, situated in an increasingly diverse multifaith environment, CA House embraces and serves students of all faiths and strives to promote interfaith dialogue and understanding. CA House offers a caring, inclusive community where all students can engage in open discussion and exploration of questions of faith (their own and others’), vocation, personal identity and growth. CA House is committed to putting faith into action and actively seeks opportunities to promote peace and justice.

Multifaith Living Community

The Multifaith Living Community (MLC) at CA House is a unique living environment for 40+ students who seek to live intentionally with one another, based on CA House’s four values: community, faith, social justice, and sustainable living. Students of all faiths, or no faith, are eligible to apply.

Former Campus Minister, Kristin Stoneking led the campaign for the construction of the MLC, which completed in 2008. The community consists of 6 townhouses, which are all accessible on the first floor, and have full kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and laundry facilities within each unit. Four townhouses have 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths, and 2 townhouses have 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. They are all situated around a private courtyard behind our Main House. Some rooms are also available in our Main House, which faces directly across from campus on Russell Boulevard. Residents in the MLC have the opportunity to take advantage of the quarterly programming features and resources available through CA House.

Christian Fellowship

Mondays at 6pm

Led by Campus Minister Sara, every Monday night we explore Christian worship and spiritual practices together in fellowship. We meet in the Main House living room, an intimate and meditative setting. Each week, we start our time by sharing a free meal together, which is provided by the community. All are welcome to attend, no matter if you are Christian, practice a different faith, or practice no faith. This program is also free and open to all UC Davis students. So, drop by some Monday! We would love to meet you!

Open Table, multifaith dinner

Wednesdays at 6pm

Join us every Wednesday in the Main House Great Hall for a free meal and discussion surrounding one or more of CA House’s four basic values: faith, community, social justice, and sustainable living, through a framework of interfaith dialogue and understanding. We invite community members, students, professors, and faith leaders as speakers, and each week one of the houses in the MLC provides the meal.
