The Campus Center for the Environment (CCE) cultivates a community of ecologically aware and active students through collaboration and education.

CCE is a student-run, student-funded advocacy unit of the Associated Students of the University of California, Davis (ASUCD). We work to promote environmental awareness through different projects and discussions on campus and in the community. We are working to provide intergroup collaboration and support between all environmental and sustainability focused groups on campus to make student voices heard about issues we care about! Please see our eco-allies page to see what other groups are doing on campus and how you can get involved. CCE has a mission to use this group support to bridge the gap between administration and students.

It's an ASUCD unit created on Friday, May 20th 2005 with the passing of ASUCD Senate bill #76 with a 11-1-0 vote. In 2015, CCE and Project Compost merged into one cohesive unit due to budget cuts. Project Compost still operates as a subunit of CCE.

CCE has weekly club meetings Mondays at 5:00 in the EcoHub. The EcoHub is also home to Whole Earth Festival, Experiment College, and the Aggie Reuse Store. All are welcome to join club meetings!

CCE and Project Compost offer internships for those looking to gain academic credit for work on a sustainability-focused project! Current internships can be found at vacancy.ucdavis.edu.

Gotten in a bike crash lately? Somebody stole your bike? Is there a particular hazard that is dangerous to biking? Report it at Bike Wise.

If you would like reminders and more from CCE, please sign up to our listserve by emailing us.

This UCD program receives ASUCD subsidies.
