The Chem Mounds are a landscaping feature on campus between the Chemistry Building and Bainer Hall. Some students refer to this feature as Roessler Hills. During the warmer months, Roessler Hills becomes an enjoyable place to have lunch, relax with friends between classes, or take a quick nap. Seeing as Davis is as flat as a flapjack, these hills are often frequented by students longing for mountainous regions.
