Playgroups 

These are formal, fee based groups for young children which require parent participation

  • Davis Parent Nursery School Our Playgroups are 90-minute sessions attended by both child and parent/adult. They are lead by a teacher and specifically designed for the younger preschooler. The age range for the Playgroup Program is 15 months to 2 years, 9 months, with some playgroups geared toward the higher end of that range. https://www.davisparentnurseryschool.com/proginfo
  • Davis Community Church Nursery School Early Explorers (12 children) is an unlicensed program with mandatory parent participation. The program is for children who are between 15 and 24 months old as of September 1st. Sessions are held on Friday from 12:00-1:30 p.m. This program is an opportunity for hands-on playtime for parents and children in a comfortable, supportive and nurturing environment. Parents will learn positive parenting skills and exciting ways to encourage their child’s natural curiosity. This is also an opportunity to meet other parents and share the joy of seeing your special little person learn and grow.   • Davis Waldorf School Parent Child program. We have four, once weekly classes, serving children from birth to age 3 and their parents or caregivers. Our Hollyhock Parent Child classes provide an opportunity to support your child’s development and make lasting connections with other families in a class facilitated by our experienced, Waldorf-trained teacher, Simone Demarzi. The classes provide a peaceful, home-like environment, carefully arranged for creative play. CPR & First Aid

  • thinkcpr Offers American Heart Association CPR and first aid courses. Classes include adult, child and infant CPR, relief of airway obstruction and use of an Automatic External Defibrillator. Certifications are valid for 2 years. Primarily a mobile training program, courses may be arranged for a few people or a group of six at your convenience.
