Daniel L. Predovich (born 21 Oct. 1925, Sacramento, California; died 10 Feb. 1987, Yolo Co., California) was superintendent of the Davis Joint Unified School District from 1975 to 1979. He served in the Air Force during WWII, remained active in the Air Force reserves after the war, and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He received his bachelor degree from California State University, Sacramento and his doctorate in human behavior from U.S. International University in San Diego. He served as a school administrator in some capacity from 1950 until his retirement from DJUSD in 1979, and was superintendent of several school districts in California, including Poway Unified School District in San Diego County, Los Altos-Mountainview Union High School, and Davis Joint Unified.
