First Church of Christ Scientist

The First Church of Christ Scientist is a local Christian spiritual organization. They are a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, the worldwide organization, based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Members of the Davis Church hold public worship services on Sunday mornings at 10 AM and hold concurrent Sunday School classes for children and young people. A Wednesday evening service includes time for testimonies from the congregation, each week at 7:30 in the evening. Childcare is also provided for children too young to attend Sunday School. The Davis Church operates a public Reading Room and bookstore in Woodland at 720A Main Street, 2 doors down from Steve's Pizza. The Reading Room is a quiet place to pray and read the Holy Bible and Christian Science publications.  It is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00am to 3:00pm and Saturday 9:00am to noon.
