The band playing at ORMF in 2011. Photo courtesy of Pembe SonmezGaarth was a local self-described "vegetarian black metal" band comprised almost entirely of KDVS DJs. Simi Sohota of G. Green, Produce Produce, and Healing Potpourri was a member. The band played local venues like the Bombshelter, Chillanova, The Hub, and Plainfield Station. They appeared on bills with other local bands like Mayyors, regional acts like Dadfag, national acts like Blank Dogs, and international acts like Vancouver's Shearing Pinx. They played house shows for the KDVS Fundraiser and events like ORMF with acts like Alak, Appetite, Ellie Fortune, Nobunny, and the UC Davis Samba School.
