Janet Berry was president of the Davis Schools Foundation from 2007 to 2008 and led the spring 2008 "Dollar-a-day" campaign that helped to avoid cuts in school programs at the time. She was also campaign manager for the Measure W school parcel tax campaign in November 2008. For her work on these projects, she received the A. G. Brinley Award for 2008.
