Japanese American Student Society

The Japanese American Student Society or JASS (est. 1982) is a student organization at the University of California, Davis with an eye to service, social, and cultural happenings.

JASS hosts weekly meetings and events throughout the year where students can explore the area, meet like-minded people, and ultimately form lifelong friendships. We also augment the Asian American cultural scene through volunteering events within the Davis community, as well as work closely with the Sacramento Japanese American Citizens League (JACL).

We deal primarily with the Japanese American community, but that doesn’t mean you have to be Japanese to join; anyone with an interest in Japanese culture and community can join our group!
