John Boe is director of the Campus Writing Center. He's a wealth of information if you have the chance to talk to him. He's been involved in many other projects as well. He's done a lot of charity and research work with children in hospitals - telling stories and songs to help them, as well as trying to help children with psychological issues or abuses express themselves, or their feelings about what's happened, through art and song.

2006-05-08 07:41:38 He teaches comparative literature 5 (Fairy Tales, Fables, and Parables.) He brings instruments to class to play sometimes, while he tells stories and jokes all the time. The class was really a lot of fun. I took it over a year ago, but he taught it again this year the same way I heard. —ES
