2006-01-20 15:06:04   My girlfriend and I go for Saturday lunches fairly often; we've never been overcharged or underfed. Maybe they just like us better... —BrianMcFadden

2006-01-26 00:41:57   Went to this restaurant for dinner. I ordered a lot and they spoke Manderin/Cantonese thinking my roomate did not understand...saying that we eat a lot for two people, well it is an all you can eat dinner, so what do you expect. They gave us not much sushi in what I ordered for. They charge my roomate extra the tab said 34.10 and charged her 34.85. We talked to the person, she said oh we charge 55 cents for using credit card...then I was like hmm...well that means you still owe 20 cents, she said it was 55 cents charge for credit card..and then she was like oh i will take that back it is 75 cents for credit card. I think she was lazy to correct the mistake so she made that stuff up. —AlexandraLiu

2006-02-07 14:39:28   I used to go here a lot because my friend loved to take advantage of the sushi lunch buffet. I don't like this place for several reasons. The sushi is below average, the fish and the rice taste kind of old. The service is not great, although the waitress and waiter watch you like a hawk if you are with someone who orders the buffet, just to make sure that you don't eat any of their sushi and get off without paying. Also, the pressure is on to finisih your sushi, you get charged somethin like .05 for every rice not eaten. Not a cheerful restaurant, I would only go if you're starving for cheap sushi and don't care about anything else. —LauraChan

2006-03-22 19:55:00   Is it called a restaurant????? It sucks. It's not sushi. They are famous for chitting your credit card. This place is enven not comparable to a dumpster. PLEASE PLEASE don't waste your time going to this shitty place.... —CarolinaSandh

2006-05-24 13:32:22   I had lunch there today. I expressed to the little lady at how unsatisfied I was with the meal. The sushi was very warm to the touch, and far from fresh. They're very stingy with their rolls, and this isnt from a first impression. Its from a last impression. I used to go there a lot, and didnt have this problem. They have a bunch of youngsters in there that really make the place seem unprepared. I would not recommend waisting your time, and money at this place. Its been said before, and proves true here...You pay for what you get. If you like wasting money, please, give it to me. Otherwise, walk across the street and test your luck there. I agree with past posts, they seem to watch you like a hawk, and rush you in and out. I wish it was legal to stand infront and warn people about this place. The paint job is horrible. —TimothySiewert

2006-05-26 08:38:33   If I were to choose between Jusco and Fuji's across the street it would be hands down Jusco. The sushi is better here, it tastes more fresh. But by no means is the sushi great. In fact, I dont think Fuji's is that great either. But either way, Jusco's is ok for the price. They charge for Tea like in a Chinese resturant, which I find a bit shady since it is supposed to be Japanese. The seats in the resturant are also a bit weird, but its alright. Bottom line: OK Sushi, better than Fuji's. DONT ORDER TEA —AlexKang

2006-08-11 11:51:24   I've been going to Jusco fer over a year now, and have never had anything but stellar service. The only complaint I have is the decor, they could stand to redecorate, but it should be noted, that the new/current owner is in the process of doing so now. Their dinner buffet is the most comprehesive buffet in town, hands down. They are very accommodating if you are a regular customer...maybe that's why I've had a different experience. I encourage all who have written it off, to go back and give them another chance. —JossieDiel

2006-09-14 16:01:46   I like this place if you are going for CHEAP sushi. Of course it isn't as good as a true sushi resturant, but I think it is one of the better in town. For one, they cook their rice properly. They have good sides (besides the sushi), of which I particularly like the fried calamari. They have alot of choices on the menu. I go there regularly with my boyfriend and we have never felt rushed either. My one major complaint is that sometimes they "lose" part of your order, and you have to order it again. The last time this happened they came out and apologized. —RathyMarie

2006-10-05 16:05:03   My boyfriend and I tend to come here often even though the sushi is slightly below average; we just go for the hot food. It's all you can eat calamari!! However, the service is getting pretty crappy. We'd always order a lot of food and sit for there a long time. The other day, the owner (also the chef) delivered our food and the service was horrible. Thinkin that we didn't speak Cantonese, the owner and the waiter decided to talk about us behind our backs — turns out that the owner was angry that we were ordering so much. But doesn't your sign say, "All You Can Eat"? Why the bickering then? After hearing this, we ordered more food and sat there longer just to erk them. —SandyLeung

2006-11-10 15:05:16   I go here constantly with a group of my friends. We always get superb service and they're really nice. Though the sushi isn't the best, it's still decent for the price. —UnhappyStudent

2006-11-10 15:34:36   I have had nothing but positive experiences from here. My girlfriend and I go here often for some decent sushi, and the owner is always pleasant, even when we order ridiculous amounts of food. —RaymondMyers

2006-12-12 19:30:40   I love their food. Fresh food. Great service. reasonable price for the amount you get. —KiwiSelina

2006-12-13 20:47:13   The service here isn't quick like Fuji Chef, but when I don't feel like lining up this is the place. The tempura here is very good as is most of their sushi. I have noticed that the wasabi can be pretty nasty (probably fake stuff). The older guy who mainly buses tables is a real nice guy. Barely speaks any english, but I can't help but smile when he brings me food. Overall, good food probably not worth the price tag unless you really chow down (which I do), but better than waiting for Fuji Chef —JohnHumperdinkle
