Kelsey's Companion Care

Owned and operated by Kelsey Boyle, a pre-vet UCD graduate in Animal Science and Behavior, Kelsey's Companion Care is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured pet care service in Davis CA. They are available for petsits on weekends while you're on vacation, holidays when you're off visiting family, or even on weekdays if your workday does not allow you to be home with your pet/s for hours at a time. General pet-care visits are $20/visit and they do not charge additional fees for extra animals or medication administration. There are also extended visits available for $28 and $36 if you have a very high energy dog or needy cat. Overnight services are available on a case by case basis. Services are available for all species of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, chickens, and livestock.

2013-09-24 08:33:40   Kelsey provides an absolutely reliable and trustworthy pet and house sitting service that has allowed us to travel with the knowledge that our home and beloved cats and dog are receiving excellent care. Also, she does it with a cheerful and non-judgemental demeanor that makes us (almost) unselfconscious about our rather quirky house and perhaps even quirkier animals! Surprisingly, that quality is not one possessed by all professional pet sitters, as we discovered years ago before we were lucky enough to find PetPals, the service for whom Kelsey worked before its wonderful owners moved on to other endeavors and transferred a large portion of their business to Kelsey. Through the years we had employed a sometimes frustratingly colorful cast of professional pet sitters, some of whom we felt we were working around, rather than working with. Still, we felt it preferable to taking our pets to kennels, which—the once or twice we did it—they so clearly found frightening. PetPals ended all of that stress, for our animals and for us, and Kelsey has maintained and continued to fine tune the high quality service originated by her former employers. 2014-10-16 09:26:22   Kelsey and her team recently walked our rescue pup for 5 days while we were out of town. They are friendly, professional and I felt that they truly care about both the client and the animal. Our young dog (54 lbs of muscle!) was still a bit reactive to other dogs and had not been trained, since we've only had her for a short time. However, Kelsey and her team knew how to handle our dog's quirks and had no problem controlling her on walks. They were flexible to meet our specific needs, arrived on time and best of all - our dog loved them! I definitely recommend their service. —vlboshoff
