New York native and Carnegie-Mellon post-doctoral fellow Larry Bogad specializes in political theatre, a genre closely associated with his Theatre and Dance course "Satire, Irony, and Protest". Bogad is an experienced actor, activist, director, and playwright. He is the author of numerous journal-published articles, as well as the Routledge-published "Electoral Guerrilla Theatre: Radical Ridicule and Social Movements". He holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Performance Studies from Northwestern University and a B.A. in history from the University of Pennsylvania.
