Middle Eastern/South Asian Community Week

The Middle Eastern & South Asian community is unique in its diversity and breadth. The Cross Cultural Center has been a safe space for the community to expand and flourish on campus. With the addition of the two positions, we have been able to reach out and solidify our presence in the greater UC Davis campus, through programs such as the ME/SA Solidarity Retreat and ME/SA Community Week. These events celebrate and raise awareness about our rich culture and heritage, but also gives us a space to challenge ourselves and explore our identities.

Middle Eastern & South Asian Community Week is designed to celebrate the Middle Eastern & South Asian identity at UC Davis. Throughout the week organizations and faculty host various programs aimed to educate our campus community and ourselves. 

This year, ME/SA Community Week will be held May 2-6, 2016.
