2007-02-10 17:37:17 the pizza was decent, but i didnt know about all the coupon circulation. My small (10in) veggie pizza was 14.38 including tax. That seems pretty steep. now that i think about it they asked me if i wanted onions on it and i said sure, maybe they charged extra for them, because the pizza is only supose to be 11.60 without tax. thats pretty shady, they should have specified that onions didnt come on the veggie pizza and that they were extra. It would be like ordering a meat lovers pizza and them asking if you wanted sausage on that, and then charging you for it because the meatlovers was only suppose to come with peperoni, chicken and ground beef. —MattHh
2007-03-10 13:27:10 the pizza is good, but they really need to put more pizzas out there on the buffet table. the owners seem cheap by doing that. usually there are only 2 pizzas on the buffet table at any given time, and the pizzas are small. but i will admit that the pizzas are good. if you ask the owners to make more pizzas they will, but otherwise you might have to sit there wiating for more pizzas to come out. waiting for food after eating = getting full, which means that one gets less food for the buck. —AndrewLee

2007-09-16 19:59:27 I ordered a pizza tonight and they said it would be delivered in 30 minutes. After an hour it still hadn't shown up. I called them and was told they were waiting for us to come pick it up within 15 minutes. They obviously didn't understand that I wanted the pizza delivered, even though I said it twice. If you talk to the Asian woman on the phone, make sure that she understands that when you say delivery, you actually mean delivery. Addendum: After calling them, they agreed to deliver us a pizza, as we had originally requested. When our pizza arrived 30 minutes later, it was not hot — the cheese was congealed and the vegetables were dessicated. It tasted like a pizza that had been made almost two hours ago and then left to sit out. I am pretty sure they delivered us the same pizza that they originally made for us instead of something fresh. We are very unhappy, and will probably take our future business elsewhere. —AlexPomeranz
2007-09-29 20:33:37 Got the UCD free small pizza coupons. I called, and they said in 20 minutes it'll be ready, went there at 30 minutes after calling and they didn't even start making the pizza. When we went, they looked at our coupons and said they wouldn't honor them (they were stamped as opposed to being imprinted) and gave us a discount instead. NOT ONLY THAT, but it seems as if they already knew they wouldn't honor the coupons since they made us reorder the pizzas when we got there.
When we got the small pizza and they were 8-9 inches instead of the listed 10 inches(got pictures to prove it). AND it took us a total of 1 hour from my call to receive the pizza including 40 minutes of in store waiting time.
ALSO THE PIZZA WASN'T EVEN THAT GREAT. IN SHORT, WE GOT SCREWED—DON'T EAT HERE. —Nil
2007-09-29 23:30:13 Same experience with Nil. That lady even accused us of using fake coupons at first! And to add salt to the wound, their pizzas were at least an inch or two smaller in radius than their advertised size! —Col
2007-10-14 08:33:19 The pizza was excellent, but service was lousy. They made our pizza wrong, and got annoyed when we brought it back to have them remake it. They tried to say it was our fault, and refused to give us any discount for the inconvenience of having to go back to have them remake it. Also, they wouldn't start making the new pizza until we got back with the old one, so we had to go back, then sit and wait for 20 minutes.
While I really liked the pizza, I will take my business elsewhere. —Valerie
2007-12-03 05:39:38 I love Mountain Mike's pizza, and the Davis location has the formula down just right! The owners are very nice, and are happy to give you coupons at the counter if you ask. The all you can eat is actually very good, but is kind of crowded some days. Dinner buffet is very affordable and inside is very pleasant. —AlexKang
