The Native American Center sponsors language projects that bring UC Davis into direct contact with Indian communities through a variety of revitalization and research projects. The center's professors, post-docs, and grad students cunduct research on a number of languages, including Luiseño, Juaneño, Nisenan, Cherokee, Yukatek Maya, Nahuatl, Otomí, and Miwok.
