North Pacific Plumbing is a plumbing service locally owned and operated by Brent Dotson.

Brent has been in the business for almost 10 years and he knows the community very well. Brent was raised in Davis and had the pleasure of growing up in this beautiful University town. He is passionate about the service he provides and he takes pride in offering friendly and honest customer service.

He also advised me how to check to see if I could install a sink in my laundry room. I did and we can so we will be calling him back to install. 2012-01-16 10:06:40   Brent recently replaced all three of our toilets with new toilets that I had ordered online. Brent removed the old toilets, unpacked the new ones, installed them, and carted away the old ones and all the packaging! As previous reviews have mentioned he was friendly, honest, and professional. 2012-05-21 14:52:07   North Pacific spent about an hour fixing a water line at my house and charged me $180.00, $20 less than originally told. It was also almost $900 less than Same Day Service Plumbing was going to charge me. Always get more than one contractor to estimate a job. —RLSalinger

2012-12-13 15:27:16   Why does plumbing always go out on a weekend? We stopped getting hot water. Brrrr. I called a number of plumbers Sunday, and Brent was nice enough to call back and say he didn't have an opening until the end of the week. After calling a number of others and no luck for a day, and skipping ones that got bad reviews, I called back Brent! He was super about calling back, and could fit us in the next day too! After having worked with Plumber MD before, always feeling I was paying too much and buying into a program that was nothing but a money sink and no actualized benefit, Brent was a refreshing and welcome change! He has the honesty and integrity that one *hopes* to find in a small business and he fixed up our water heater right up. Arrived punctually, did exactly what he stated in the quote at the price he had quoted and he took a lot of time explaining things and answering my questions. Absolutely excellent service. Brent was extremely clear, concise, organized, on time for the job estimate as well as scheduled work, and did an excellent job. 2014-09-17 12:38:52   My 3.5 yr old daughter recently flushed some princess toys down our hall toilet. I'm generally in favor of flushing princesses down the toilet, however, we have a wall mount toilet and while Snow White probably made it out through the main line, Cinderella couldn't make the tight turns. Brent and his worker (ugh, forgot his name) came over for the princess extraction. They had to take the toilet off the wall, but were successful in dislodging Cinderella and reinstalling the toilet. Brent and his worker were very personable and efficient, and the charge was very reasonable. Highly recommended! —EricJames

2015-02-23 19:32:38   Brent Dotson (and his crew) did an unbelievable job re-piping our house from galvanized to copper. It was an extensive process due to an extremely tight crawlspace, a combined slab and subfloor, and tight turns inside walls. I have experience in construction, and I knew this was going to be a tough one. They met with us before the demo began to explain all of our options and asked if we wanted to give input. They were extremely knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. At the end of each day, the house was cleaned up by the crew. They were very careful to protect our old wood floors. Our comfort was of their utmost concern. They even replaced a toilet in a 2nd bath so we could have weekend guests, even though it had to be removed again. The results were amazing. We have much better pressure and volume in our washing machine, kitchen sink, and shower. We couldn't be more pleased. We highly recommend Brent for even the most difficult jobs. In fact, we will call him back on our next project! —davidnoon

2015-03-25 15:54:40   Brent and crew did an excellent job replacing a hot water heater on short notice, and helped make the permitting and inspection process go smoothly. Our hot water heater failed suddenly over the weekend. Brent returned my phone message on Sunday evening and had installed a new unit by Monday end-of-day. I was comfortable giving Brent access to the house during the workday Monday when I was away. He came Monday morning to scope out the work, found a replacement unit locally and started work around noon. We talked by phone once during the afternoon. His crew was done and we had hot water by Monday evening. Brent is easy to work with and responsive to customer needs. Highly recommended. —MarkGrote

2016-01-23 14:30:34   I hired North Pacific Plumbing (NPP) to disconnect my kitchen sink, faucet, and disposal and install a new set when I had my kitchen countertops redone. NPP performed their work in an efficient and professional manner. They arrived on time and were very accomodating coordinating their work with that of the counter installers. The disconnect was completed quickly and efficiently. Because of my selection of new sink, faucet, and disposal, combined with the wonky way City of Davis residential plumbing is configured, installation of the new components was not particularly straightforward. I appreciated NPP’s commitment to ensuring that everything was installed, connected, and in unquestionable working order before calling the job “done”. NPP made three separate trips to obtain specific tools and additional parts to complete the job. I was and remain extremely pleased with their skill and the pride they take in the quality of their work. I have yet to require the services of a plumber for an urgent repair at my home, but NPP is at the top of my list should such a crisis arise. —Cassandrasdad
