PriceArc is a website based in Davis. The purpose of PriceArc is to provide direct price/value comparisons between different companies and individuals that offer the same service or product. PriceArc collects novel data about services and products that are offered in Davis, and about the companies and individuals who offer the service. Much of this data is not available via any other public source. PriceArc presents this data in a "chart", which consists of three views: a scatter plot displaying direct price/value comparisons; a map view displaying the location and price of each provider; a list view for viewing the information for each provider more directly.
