Robb Davis, Mayor from 2016 to 2018Robb Davis is the current mayor of Davis, having been elected city council member in 2014 and chosen Mayor Pro Tem the same year. Davis grew up in Pennsylvania and earned his PhD in public health from Johns Hopkins University. He spent 20 years in French-speaking west Africa before coming to Davis with his wife Nancy. In addition to doing consultant work in Davis, he served on the city's downtown parking task force and the Bicycle Advisory Commission, helped envision the Neighborhood Court program through UC Davis and helped put together the Yolo Conflict Resolution Center. Davis' term ends in 2018, and he has indicated no intention of running for re-election.
