2006-01-06 19:07:11   i actually thought it was very reasonably priced for the food and ambience; about what i'd pay for a typical, considerably more earthy restaurant in cambridge. the dessert was on the expensive side IMH(AUB)O. —AnsateJones

2006-01-13 14:55:53   I have been to Seasons several times now with friends and I think it is the best restaurant in Davis. Everyone seems to know what they're doing, the service has always been very good, and the quality of the food has been consistently excellent. Highly recommended! —ToNils

2006-02-07 11:56:03   Of the Upscale Restaurants in Davis, the service here wins hands down. The appetizers and entrees are generally good. I once had the Rabbit w/ Pappardelle Noodles. The noodles were fresh and tasty, and the rabbit was in abundance, but it was somewhat lacking in flavor. —CraigBrozinsky

2006-02-14 21:32:20   Went here for dinner on Valentine's Day. The cheese plate was nice- nothing too daring in the four selections. The grilled salmon was wonderful- very tender! And the risotto was equally good- not too watery and not too sticky, but just right! The Scharffenberger brownie is amazing. We would definately go again. The service was also very good, and online reservations are a snap. —MattJurach

2006-03-08 14:08:31   Be very careful - overly emphatic, even - if you have a food allergy and choose to dine at Seasons. My husband was poisoned by the kitchenstaff during our last meal there! The service was impeccable, the waiter noted my husband's allergies (and spoke with the chefs about them)... but still, my husband was served something topped with breadcrumbs that included the kind of nuts that send him to the emergency room. I did inform the restaurant (manager, Christi?) of the incident, but I never heard back from her. Prior to the poisoning, I loved this place - but it's going to be tough to get my husband back in there. —ElHarvey

2006-09-28 17:29:51   Not worth the price? I'm sorry did you want it to be free Jethro so you can save up your money to buy some MD 20/20? Face the facts, this place is at least in the top 2 if not the best to eat in Davis. Staff is amazing, food I would say is the most diverse in the county and the atmosphere, you really can't say anything negative about it. —SteveBlais

2006-11-01 16:13:49   One of the best restaurants in Davis. They have great food and great service. It is expensive but you leave feeling satisifed, though I really wish they would improve the wine list. —GradStudent06

2006-12-28 23:42:30   This place is very upscale. For about $20, you can either go to Seasons and get a small personal size pizza, or go to a pizza place and get a large pizza. —JohnWong

  • season's personal pizzas are for the most part under $10 if you are talking about the woodfire oven flat breads which are generally topped with unique or standard pizza toppings. overall you dont go here for the pizza though.
