Thomas H. Frankel is a Davis attorney and philanthropist who was named Davis Citizen of the Year in 1984 for his contributions to the community. He was a trustee at the Explorit Science Center for many years and co-founded the Davis chapter of the Yolo Compassionate Friends with his wife Barbara. In addition to their many charitable donations, Frankel and his wife have also been very active in supporting local and state politicians throughout the years.

  • The Mediation art sculpture in Davis' Central Park was sponsored by the City in appreciation of Frankel.
  • Frankel acted as the ASUCD's attorney in their famous power struggle against the UC Regents.
