Demonstration Tule House built behind TB30 in 1998?
Tule Houses are believed to be the structures that the local inhabitants lived in. Hopefully they were more substantial than the demonstration hut pictured. In theory tules were harvested and tatched to a framework of willow or other branches. The one in the picture was built along the arboretum near the California Avenue bridge.
