UC Davis Softball is one of the many ICA Sports teams fielded by UC Davis. They play their home games at LaRue Field. In 2004,the softball team became NCAA Division II Softball champions. The team qualified for the NCAA regionals in 2010 at Stanford, but lost to Hawaii and Texas Tech. The softball team had a great 2010 season, which included a nine game winning streak. They played very well against the Big West opponents. The softball season mirrors that of the UC Davis baseball team, except that softball usually begins and ends the season about a week earlier than baseball.
