US Cryotherapy is like a spa, but focused on cold rather than heat/massage/manicures/tanning. The idea is that cooling the skin by whole-body submersion in cold air (3 minutes at -166°F/-110°C) shrinks the capillaries and activates the autonomous nervous system, increasing your blood levels of epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. They also have spot cooling—analogous to the "icing" part of classic strain/sprain recovery protocol (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Their target market is sports medicine-related services, particularly tissue damage from sports injuries, but also from other acute injuries and chronic pain.
TL;DR: Do you like going outside in the snow, having the air hit your face, going "whoo!" with the chill, and then zooming back inside? You might have fun here. Do you have a soft-tissue injury that—because of its location—it's really difficult to keep a cold pack on it for 15 min? This could be useful.
