Pete Nowlen is director of the University Concert Band. Music 43/143 meets Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 p.m. 105 Music Sectional practices, TBA. Concert Band is open to non-music majors by audition; contact the music department at 530-752-5537 for further information.
Composed of 40-60 wind and percussion players, the Concert Band performs exciting new band works, time tested classics, and occasional transcriptions. The Concert Band performs every quarter in the Mondavi Center, as well as occasional tours and off campus venues.
