Native to San Diego, Californian, Juli Ann Blanco is a Public Art/Mural Artist and painter. She is also an art educator working with all ages. She is affiliated with Yolo County Arts of Woodland, California and teaches art in Yolo County schools. Juli's artistic contributions in Davis have been well received and respected. She was given the opportunity by the City of Davis to create new public art "Artist Benches" in the neighborhood of Wildhorse on Wright Boulevard just off of Covell in west Davis. So far two have been completed. "Passionate Pablo" is the name of one of the benches and "Visionary Vincent" is the other. Juli Ann pays tribute to Pablo Picasso and Vincent VanGogh in these colorful, functional public art pieces.
