A group of parents and teachers is planning on turning Valley Oak Elementary School into a charter school in order to preserve and improve the school as a resource for the neighborhood. Their website is http://www.vocharter.org/. There will be a public informational meeting on September 24th from 7:00-8:30PM in the Valley Oak Multipurpose Room.
