Whole Earth REusables Cooperative

The Whole Earth REusables Cooperative is a wonderful program that supplies reusable dishes free of charge in order to reduce waste.

It's affiliated with lots of different environmental organizations on campus. These include but are not limited to: R4 Recycling, Project Compost and the Whole Earth Festival.

2008-02-16 17:17:54   How is WERC a cooperative? It isn't owned by consumers; is it controlled by "workers" perhaps? Or is this just sloppy use of the cooperative identity? Please see "Cooperative Principles" — especially the Definition — for more. —DougWalter
