The Yolo County Search and Rescue Team assist the Sheriff's Office by volunteering in search and rescue operations.  The team provides search management support, land navigation and search tactics, rope rescue, first aid and mutual aid 24 hours a day.  The on-call members offer support to the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office to locate missing person that may include children, dementia/Alzheimer patients and lost hikers.
