As a very belated follow up explanation, Daicon is also the name of a famous series of conventions in Japan, quite notable for spawning a few anime studios, including Studio Gainax who (before they became professionals) did the early opening animations for the conventions. These which featured a brave little girl who grows up after the first three years and in the fourth year's opening animation becomes the absolute most powerful force in the universe as a young woman in bunny ears fighting against and alongside everything from Darth Vader to the USS Enterprise to Xenomorphs, Transformers, Starro, Gundams, and a ton of anime and manga characters. It makes Project A-ko look like no crossover at all, and is an absolute love letter of fandom set to Electric Light Orchestra's Time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brUwfQncCvI
